2. Educational Nature and No Guarantees

All courses, lessons, resources, workshops, downloadable materials, creative assignments, and gallery content are provided solely for educational and informational purposes. Vto AS does not promise or guarantee exhibitions, sales, employment, income, academic admission, gallery representation, professional recognition, or artistic success. Outcomes vary by learner and depend on individual practice and effort.

3. Eligibility and Account Access

You must be able to enter a binding agreement under Dutch law to use the services. If you access any password-protected materials, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify Vto AS promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

• Use the website and course materials only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Use.
• Do not copy, distribute, resell, or publicly display course content without written permission from Vto AS.
• Do not upload or share content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that violates privacy or intellectual property rights.

5. Intellectual Property

All website content, course syllabi, videos, texts, images, graphics, and other materials are owned by Vto AS or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the content for your personal, non-commercial educational use during the access period communicated for your course.

If you submit work for review, feedback, or inclusion in the Student Gallery, you retain ownership of your work and grant Vto AS a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and communicate the submitted work on the website and related educational materials. You warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant this license.

6. Course Access and Scheduling

Course duration, format, and schedules are described on the website. Access to digital course materials may be time-limited. Vto AS may update or improve materials over time to maintain educational quality. Reasonable efforts are made to provide reliable online access; temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance or factors outside Vto AS control.

7. Pricing, Taxes, and Invoices

Where applicable, prices are communicated transparently before enrollment. Any applicable taxes, including VAT under Dutch law, will be indicated during checkout or on the invoice. You agree to provide accurate billing information and to pay all fees when due. Access to a course may be suspended for unpaid amounts.

8. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers in the EU/EEA

If you are a consumer residing in the EU/EEA, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts under Dutch and EU law. However, for digital content or online services that begin during the withdrawal period with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you lose the right of withdrawal once performance starts, the right of withdrawal may not apply. Information about your withdrawal rights, where applicable, will be provided at the point of purchase.

In any event, the total aggregate liability of Vto AS for claims arising under these Terms of Use shall be limited to the amounts you paid for the service giving rise to the claim, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vto AS from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms of Use or your misuse of the website or content.

14. Suspension and Termination

Vto AS may suspend or terminate access to the website or services if you breach these Terms of Use, engage in unlawful activity, or pose a security or operational risk. 15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Use and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. The courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands, have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may grant additional rights to consumers.
